Tesla protests across the UK (X/@SKSisk76)
Elon Musk, the CEO of electric car manufacturer Tesla and SpaceX. His days are filled with controversies. Since he took over as the head of the US government's Department of Government Efficiency (DOGE), there have been mass protests against his policies. Public anger is mounting because of his extreme reforms in the government and austerity measures. On Saturday, March 20, thousands of protesters marched outside Tesla's 277 US dealerships and service centers. The protests were aimed at affecting sales of Mato Tesla, which is already experiencing a slump. The protesters vented their anger with chants like "Burn a Tesla, Save Democracy", "D-Musk America" and "Don't Buy Nazi Cars".
Protests were also ramped up in Chicago, where thousands of individuals chanted slogans such as "Hey hey, ho ho, Elon Musk has to go", which indicates that Musk's policies are impacting a big chunk of the public.
"Brave" protesters... the movement that firebombs dealerships, vandalize people financed vehicles, these people cannot sell a car that's value is way less then what they paid for it. You people are sick. You are not the same as the Boycott of budlight. Buy your own tesla and then… https://t.co/Ln1Bx1SDRJ

Protesters in London shared photos of Musk's Nazi salute and chanted slogans including "Don't buy Nazi cars." US Attorney General Pam Bondy referred to it as "domestic terrorism" but did not specify if the acts were connected with the demonstrations.
In spite of huge protests, Elon Musk stated that he is "very confident" about his business, asserting that Tesla's Model Y will still be the best-selling car globally this year and anticipates the sales of Tesla to hit 10 million units next year. Which will be much greater than the present 7 million units.
Elon Musk's policies and Tesla's falling popularity have landed him in hot water. From the US to Europe, Musk's ego might be dented in the face of protests against Elon Musk's policies, but he might have huge challenges ahead of him in the days to come.
